About TCO
We know
both sides
of freight.
A transportation company built on firsthand experience from both the shipping and trucking sides of the business — and a simple idea about what “TCO” should mean.
The perspective behind the promise ↓THE CARRIER’S REALITY. One shared commitment.
— Our Perspective
Experience on either side. Understanding all around.
We’ve seen what great brokers get right—and where others fall short.
Our leadership team brings decades of supply chain experience, with extensive exposure to freight brokerage from both sides of the equation. Our founder spent years on the shipper side, relying on brokers to keep freight moving and supply chains running smoothly. Our operations leader brings the carrier perspective, having worked closely with brokers to keep trucks loaded and his fleet moving while leading operations at a regional trucking company.
Those lessons shape how we do business. We understand what’s at stake for the people shipping the freight and the people moving it.
For Shippers
Peace of mind. With every load.
You have enough on your plate without chasing updates or following up to make sure something got done.
You deserve a partner who stays ahead of the details, communicates before you have to ask, and follows through. Someone you can trust to take care of it.
For Carriers
Respect. As the standard.
Truckers are the backbone of America’s economy, and we believe they deserve to be treated that way.
That means clear expectations, honest communication, and respect for their time and work. To us, carriers are essential partners, not interchangeable truck numbers.
We built TCO around a simple conviction:
Taking care of shippers and taking care of carriers go hand in hand.
The Meaning Behind TCO
One name. Two ideas.
Both define how we work.
Service Promise
01Taken Care Of
When you send a shipment to TCO, our goal is to take ownership of the transportation process from pickup through delivery.
- +Coordinate with the supplier
- +Secure and vet the carrier
- +Track the freight
- +Follow up on issues
You run your business.
Let us worry about the freight.
Business Philosophy
02Total Cost of Ownership
The cheapest freight rate isn’t always the lowest-cost transportation decision. We consider how transportation affects the entire operation.
- +Employee time and uncertainty
- +Detention and storage
- +Inventory requirements
- +Production disruption
The goal is a solution that makes financial and operational sense.
